A lot has happened since our last update back in January, so we want to share another update on the progress towards our mission to change people’s relationship with money, for good.
As you may remember, in our previous update we shared how we had built the ability to pay your friends back within a group.
We’re now excited to announce that we’ve taken this to the next level and made it equally as easy to pay someone outside of a group, instantly, with just a few taps.
Find a friend from your contacts list, choose how much to pay them back, and send the funds across to them.
No need to remember bank account numbers and sort codes. Easily pay your friends back in the app with the B-Social card, and use your fingerprint, face or password to secure the payment. Simple!
Real-time spending notifications
You asked, and we listened. Real-time notifications have been our most requested customer feature, and we’ve now delivered on that.
Real-time transaction notifications are now sent after any transaction when you spend money, as well as when a transaction is declined.
This will help you to stay on top of their finances whilst acting as an alert system if anyone tries to commit fraud using your card.
We’ve also improved the vendor information we provide, to make this clearer and more useful.
Add friends to your group
New joiner in your team or last-minute add-on to your group trip?
No worries, now B-Social customers are able to add their friends to existing groups.
Adding new members into a group won’t affect existing group balances. New members will be able to see historic expenses within the group.
We’ve also improved the Group Details page, providing information on group members, and the amount you and your friends owe / are owed.
This is only the start of our efforts to improving the experience for managing your groups.
Tired of having to remember multiple passwords? With our new biometrics security, you don’t need to remember the password for our app.
B-Social now supports both fingerprint and Face ID on iOS, and biometrics login on Android.
You can approve payments and view your pin through the use of biometric technology, just using Touch ID or Face ID.
